Frequently Asked Questions:
  • My download takes forever or seems to get stuck and time-out! What's the deal?
    • Don't worry! Just be patient. Some of the larger ROM packages usually take up to 30 minutes to completely download! We definitely recommend being connected to a high speed WIFI internet connection when you go to download any ROMs. Do not use the 3G or EDGE connection. And if it seems like it's stuck or not going anywhere, put down the device and come back in 5 minutes, and see if the status bar has moved any. We also want to point out that if your device is not plugged into power, and the auto-lock is set to automatically lock the device after a certain number of minutes, the WIFI will be turned off, and the download will stop. You can prevent this by making sure the device is plugged into a computer or wall charger while you are doing the download, or by changing the auto-lock setting to "Never". If your download really is stuck and hasn't moved for a few minutes, try closing out of Cydia, and reopening it, and immediately retrying the download. Most of the time it will resume at the point where it left off. Now, who wants to donate so that we can get a faster server?
  • The ROMs I downloaded do not play correctly! What now?
    • First of all, if you are speaking of the GBA (GameBoy Advance) emulator, make sure you have also downloaded and installed the GBA BIOS package as well. Otherwise, everything should be working correctly. There are sometimes bugs and crashes in certain games that just have to be dealt with. Try playing around with the emulator's settings to see if that helps fix the problem, or head over to ZodTTD's website and ask the folks there on the forums.
